Auto tuning and motor protection
A precondition for a well functioning
heating system is that the correct
settings are made before it is put
to use. Adjustments are necessary
to preset the control parameters.
Presetting gives the following benefits:

deposits in DHW heat exchangers

Minimum service
The introduction of automatic setting
of control parameters on the controller
itself, i.e. auto tuning and motor
protection, gives optimum control
of the DHW system. This ensures a
high degree of comfort, stable control
during idle operation and, subsequently,
longer motor life.
The setting of control parameters can
thus be reduced to one simple and
reliable procedure. Auto tuning is
especially necessary in DHW systems.
Remote service possibilities with
WebAccess
The WebAccess makes your ECL
Comfort 200 and 300 accessible via
Internet or modem.
You can define different levels of access
going from monitoring to wide control
of parameters in the ECL controller.
All applications, updates and other
information are placed on the Danfoss
Heating Portal from where it can be
downloaded.
The WebAccess is used in a LON net-
work – communicating with up to
4 ECL controllers. Other components
such as energy meters can also be
monitored via the WebAccess.

Flexibility and Easy Operation
ECL Apex 10 – configurable controller
The ECL Apex 10 is a dedicated district
heating controller preprogrammed
with all relevant control functions and
applications. The controller is applicable
in large substations and distributor
stations and can be connected as stand
alone or in network.
As a consequence it can be used
in supervisory control and data
acquisition systems (SCADA).
The ECL Apex 10 can be extended
with a number of modules to fit
any heating application with up to
5 circuits within heating or DHW.
