With ECL Comfort it is possible
to control all stages of the heat
consumption – right down to the
smallest detail – and at the same
time take external factors into
account such as the outdoor
temperature, the insulation of the
heated area and the radiator capacity
of the building. It is an easy task to
operate ECL Comfort 200 and 300.
You only have to push a few buttons
to enter all the settings.
Advanced Controlling in a Simple User Interface
Temperature control:
This display provides a quick over-
view of the outdoor and indoor
temperatures, the requested comfort
temperature, and the status mode of
the system.
Normal display:
This display gives you a quick over-
view of the time, the outdoor and
indoor temperatures, the selected
comfort periods of the day, and the
status mode of the system.
Time programming:
This display informs you about the
time interval of the comfort periods
if additional and personal comfort
periods have been entered to meet
the special demands you might have.
End user displays Installer displays
Control of system components:
Displays a status of the pumps,
motorized valves etc. in the heating
system as well as the current system
temperatures (flow and return
temperatures).
Control of system temperature:
Here the heat curve is set – the
relationship between required
flow temperature and outdoor
temperature.
Optimum start function:
The calculation of the optimum start
and stop times includes factors such
as insulation, radiators and system
capacity to ensure that the requested
temperature is reached at the
requested time.
The controller and its service tool can
be operated by means of a PDA or a
PC and either on-site or remotely via
modem. The service tool offer four
different user levels: supervisor, service
user, daily user and default user.
The required flow temperature is
typically based on the outdoor
temperature (weather compensation)
but can also be influenced by:
Schedule (comfort/setback)
Optimized time control
Boost function
Maximum and minimum flow
temperature limitation
Return temperature, flow and
energy limitation
Anti-bacteria function
(DHW circuit)

where each parameter has a short
description and the actual value is
shown. The primary values of the
heating circuit are shown in the top
of the window.
